Vonnegut: Requiem - Voces Novae commissioned eight nationally-recognized composers to compose choral settings from Kurt Vonnegut's wry re-working of the traditional mass for the dead. The world premiere of Vonnegut: Requiem took place May 11/12 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, as a featured event in Indiana University Arts & Humanities Council’s Granfalloon: A Kurt Vonnegut Convergence. Artistic Director and Conductor: Susan Swaney. The composers are Lauren Bernofsky, Cary Boyce, Malcolm Dalglish, Don Freund, Stacy Garrop, Gabriel Lubell, Moira Smiley and Dale Trumbore.
